..was a mixed bag!

It started off strong but descended into gross sickness that took out 3 members of the household. Something was definitely going around and it knocked me and the boys sideways.

It was a good 4 weeks of doctors appointments, paracetemol (for me & 1 child as ours was viral) and antibiotics for the other child, enforced rest (which gets dull after the first few days), coughing, sleepless nights and absolute exhaustion.

But before all that happened, we had a fab time trading at Manchester Cathedral with the always fab Craft & Flea. It was a new venue for us and one that we’d definitely like to do again.

We also had a lovely time trading at Lovelocks, a market that we co-host with The Veil & Lovelocks. The Valentines market was as sweet as can be and it’s always great to spend the day in one of our favourite places.

More stained glass workshops were delivered, our Date Night – Stained Glass Edition is proving to be very popular and getting rave reviews! Our couples join us in our stained glass studio in the Baltic Triangle and work together to create a beautiful sun catcher to take home.

We have dates listed here (prices are per couple) but if you’d like to enquire about a date that we don’t have listed just send over a message and we’ll see what we can do.

Another February highlight was having a stall at the fab Alt Wedding Fair in Leeds. This was SUCH a fun day, we met lots of gorgeous people and got to chat about our wedding range. Lots of interest in our preserved bouquets and we’ve taken booking since then which is exciting!

We ended February feeling sick but happy that we’d crammed in a LOT before that happened. Got to look on the bright side though, it gave me (Jen) the time to catch up on a lot of reading (currently on 20/35 of my Goodreads 2024 Reading Challenge so i might have to increase that target!) and the brain space to think about upcoming plans for Olive Can Fly.
