Have you always wanted to have a go at both stained glass and fused glass but can’t decide which one to go for?

Well Santa has come early – you don’t have to choose you can do both!

Based at our lovely stained glass studio in Wellington Yard, Wavertree, you’ll spend the day with us making some fabulous Christmas themed glass pieces. 🎄

Morning – you’ll be making 2 stained glass Christmas decorations which you will be completing in session so can take away with you.

Lunch – we have a small kitchen with a kettle and microwave which you’re welcome to use or you can bring a packed lunch.

Afternoon – you’ll be making 1 Christmas wreath & 2 Christmas decorations. Please note: the fused pieces will need to be fired in the kiln so cannot be taken away that day. Please allow 2 weeks for completion. They can be collected from our studio or posted to you for an extra P&P fee.

Detailed health & safety guides and precautions will be taught throughout the day and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided along with all materials.

No previous stained or fused glass experience is necessary for this particular workshop.

Further Information:

• Due to the use of lead and chemicals involved in this workshop we are unfortunately unable to accommodate pregnant women.

• We have a no smoking policy onsite.

• No alcohol can be consumed on the premises or during workshop breaks. Treat yourself to something with bubbles later to celebrate what you’ve created.

• We are based on the ground floor. Unfortunately the bathroom is not accessible. If you have accessibility needs please contact us directly to arrange an alternative location for a workshop.

• Please wear comfortable clothing (the older the better as you will be working with chemicals), suitable footwear such as boots or trainers (no open toed footwear), and bring a hair tie to safely secure your hair back. During the Autumn and Winter we recommend wearing layers.

• If you wear glasses for reading then please bring them.

 

What is included in the workshop fees?

Use of all equipment, materials & tuition needed to hand make your own stained glass sun catcher.

Gloves, safety mask, goggles and apron are also provided.

Complimentary tea, coffee, juice, bottled water and biscuits are provided.

Duration: We begin our classes promptly so please arrive ten minutes before.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation and a full refund (minus an admin fee of £35 per person) can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Cancellation and a 50% refund (plus an admin fee of £35 per person) can be obtained up to a week before the course starts. No refunds available for cancellations that are less than a week to the course start date.
